Welcome to the amazing journey of parenthood!
Hi, I’m Aurelia, a birth and postnatal doula based in the North of Colchester and offering personalised support to families across Essex, Suffolk and some parts of Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
Pregnancy and birth are sacred rites of passage: big moments where life changes shape and a new family begins - it’s totally normal if you are feeling excitement, vulnerability, anticipation or uncertainty, or all of these emotions at once!
But with the right support, you can navigate this journey with confidence and create memorable and poignant experiences for your family and baby. As your doula, I will walk beside you every step of the way.
My intention is to meet every family with love, kindness and care. My approach is grounded in evidence-based recommendations, continuous training and intuition, along with my real-life, hands-on experience as a mom of three. I strive to create a safe, empowering space for you and your birth partner to grow and learn during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.
I believe every parent deserves to feel supported and uplifted, especially in a world that can be challenging at times. My Services
Pregnancy & Birth Doula
As your birth doula, I will help you and your birth partner to prepare and feel more confident within yourselves, ready for the birth of your baby.
Whether you want to give birth in hospital, at home, have a water birth or have another birth preference, I will provide support and information to assist you in achieving the positive birth experience you deserve.
Postnatal Doula
As your postnatal doula, I offer practical care, emotional support and invaluable education during those delicate first weeks of parenthood.
From infant feeding and care to household assistance to practical guidance and confidence-building, I am here to help you thrive during your postpartum journey.
Mother blessing
Honour your journey into motherhood with a Mother Blessing Ceremony, an alternative to a traditional baby shower.
Together, we can create a circle where you can feel seen, held and strengthened, reminding you that you do not walk this path alone and that you are already enough for your transition into parenthood.
